When I founded the company in 1966, I made a strong commitment to operate with uncompromising integrity in both the best of times and the worst of times. Looking back, we have grown and made a lot of changes. Our first job was a 50,000 square foot office/warehouse, which was a good-sized project in those days. Today, Amelang Partners has developed or constructed over 6,000,000 square feet of commercial and industrial projects in several states, and that number continues to grow. We have been honored to receive the "Hammer" Award from the National Performance Review for our efforts in developing the Houston Veterans Affairs Regional Office. This award is given to developers whose efforts improve the way government works. I have been proud of our accomplishments and successes over the past four decades. And yet, Amelang Partners has not changed all that much. The basic principles of honesty and integrity still exist today.
